Santa ‘Ilia Merlot & Mavrud

Descriptions:

Edoardo Miroglio winery was established in 2002 with it’sfirst production in 2005 by an Italian vigneron in Bulgaria!

The winery is located in the southern region of the Thracian Lowlands with approximately 220 hectares of vineyards, covering the hillside of Saint Ilia, which descends to the village of Elenovo, in the Thracian Valley, Bulgaria

Aroma: Attractive dark fruit and plum aromas, dry leaves, toast, vanilla and spices.

Taste: Soft & fresh, a little tart …get ready to pucker up!

Ageing: 12 months ageing in French and Bulgarian oak

Serving suggestion: Pizza, pasta, grilled meats, hard cheeses.

Castillo de Jumilla Monastrell 2014

Descriptions:

Bodegas Bleda is located in the Designation of Origin Jumilla, situated in Eastern Spain, halfway between the Mediterranean coastline and Castilla La Mancha, south of Valencia.

Headquartered in the Valley of Omblancas, at an altitude of 650 meters overlooking the Castle of Jumilla.

Grape varietal:  Monastrell (100%)

Tasting notes: Unoaked with a fragrant nose of fresh cherries and blackberries. At 14% alcohol, the wine is well balanced with

smooth tannins and a pleasant sweetness. It is mature and elegant with a lasting bouquet for such a young wine.

Domaine le Grand Destre

Descriptions:

Located in Camaret-sur-Aigues, to the north east of Orange, in the zone of Rasteau.

François Moricelly is the fourth generation managing the family-owned vineyard, where cultivating vines is an integral part of the history of the estate.

In Provencal “Grand Destré” means “Large press”: this wine press is still present on the estate. In between the two wars, it was used by François Moricelly’s great grandfather to press grapes. The non fermented sparkling juice (bourru wine) was then immediately sold to restaurants in Lyon (bouchons) just before the arrival of the new wines.

Varietals: 65% Grenache, 35% Carignan.

Tasting Notes: Beautiful garnet red colour with light purple hues. Nose opening on red berries and garrigue fruit with subtle hints of plum. Well balanced on the palate, it reveals melted tannins and concludes with a very pleasant velvety finale.

Domaine de Beaumiere 2014 (CDR)

Descriptions:

Domaine de Beaumière is located in the Provence part of the Drôme, in the village of Bouchet that once belonged to the Princes of Orange and was later bought in the XIVth century by nuns from a Cistercian Abbey.

It is in this rural village, essentially turned toward viticulture, that Claude Charpentier who represents the third generation and is heir to a long tradition of winemaking manages the Domaine. He endeavours to combine ancestral tradition with the more recent approach of sustainable agriculture aiming to preserve the environment and produce the very best her terroir has to offer.

Varietals: Grenache 80%, Syrah 20%.

Tasting Notes: Deep garnet red colour with purple hues. Delicate nose yielding aromas of red berries and violets. The mouthfeel is supple and elegant offering a smooth and velvety texture that is remarkably well-balanced.
