Summer has arrived … Rose Season is on!

The Domaine de Saint-Férréol estate, family owned since 1720, is situated deep in the countryside of Var, overlooking the vast plains of Pontevès, at the foot of the Bessillons peaks in Provence.

The soil is clay-limestone which produces fresh, fruity wine. The varietals of the 2014 Rosé are Grenache (60%), Cinsault (30%) and Syrah (10%). The vines are old – 60% are over 40 years.

Tasting Notes :

Traditional vinification at low temperature allows optimal extraction of aromas creating an intense nose of red fruits (raspberry) and citrus (orange) wrapped in a classic pastel pink colour. All with a soft mouth feel offering freshness and aromatic persistence in the spirited soul of this dry rosé. Presented in a satin finish bottle.

Wine & Food pairings:

Great with salads (Nicoise), Provencal & Mediterranean dishes, bouillabaisse, spot prawns, grilled fresh fish, ham & pork.
