Domaine de Beaumiere (CDR)

Descriptions:

Domaine de Beaumière is located in the Provence part of the Drôme, in the village of Bouchet that once belonged to the Princes of Orange and was later bought in the XIVth century by nuns from a Cistercian Abbey.

It is in this rural village, essentially turned toward viticulture, that Claude Charpentier who represents the third generation and is heir to a long tradition of winemaking manages the Domaine. He endeavours to combine ancestral tradition with the more recent approach of sustainable agriculture aiming to preserve the environment and produce the very best her terroir has to offer.

Varietals: Grenache 80%, Syrah 20%.

Tasting Notes: Deep garnet red colour with purple hues. Delicate nose yielding aromas of red berries and violets. The mouthfeel is supple and elegant offering a smooth and velvety texture that is remarkably well-balanced.

Domaine de Cause 2015 La Lande Cavagnac Malbec (Cahors)

“From vines planted in the 1970s, this wine is the top cuvee of this estate. Rich tannins, generous fruit and good acidity combine to give a powerful, wood-aged wine. It is still young with a burst of great fruit that needs to soften. Drink this impressive wine from 2022.“

Domaine de la Chaise Touraine Sauvignon 2018 – New Vintage

Descriptions:

Owned by the Davault family for six generations, Domaine de la Chaise is composed of 140 acres of vines located on the hillsides of Saint Georges sur Cher. Christophe Davault is the winemaker.

The juicy ripeness reflects a distinctly “New World” style –an especially rich and ripe character; the finish is long with grapefruit-y astringency. The full- flavoured nature of this wine belies the overall light body (only 12.5% ABV).

A crisp, refreshing, dry white wine. Very fragrant with pineapple, passion and grapefruit aromas. The palate is round and well balanced with a nice, delicate minerality.

Perfect on it’s own or serve with goat cheese, salads, seafood, shellfish risotto, grilled
