It unites the expressions of three indigenous varieties: the fresh, mineral depth of the Macabeo (30) the citrus energy, clearly Mediterranean, of white Grenache (60), with characteristic notes of white flower, aromatic herbs and fruit skin; the warmth and charming imprint of Pedro Ximénez (10) which provide sherry notes. Priorat is a place of incredible natural beauty, with vines perched on impossibly steep hillside terraces (costers) of schist and black slate soils, llicorella, which contributes an incredible minerality. The climate is harsh, with bitterly cold winters and the northerly Cierzo wind and summers bathed in an intense Mediterranean sun.
